G Gundam Rules.

I personally feel it is the best of the saga. It's far more original than any UC show or the copies like Wing and X. It is shunned or being different. Bt in all honesty I think it is more anime-y than the other shows. Never once did I see classic anime symbolisym in Gundam Wing like the sweat drop, the anime fall, the mushroom cloud sigh, the angry temple pounding thingy. But I see all of that in G Gundam. Plus the cast of characters is great and diversified unlike Wing and other shows in the saga. I mean what other Gundam show are you going to see a Russian space pirate who is really a very kind and gentle person falling in love with his warden?

Yes G Gundam destroys Gundam Wing with that pshyco freak Heero Yuy. It definetly has the best voice actors, and animation. Plus, it has the COOLEST gundam ever, The Devil Gundam.

YES!!!! Finnaly someone else who thinks the Devil Gundam is the coolest gundam ever. I mean Devil Gundam would beat the *beep* outta that insane wierd ass Heero Yuy and his gundam.

But yes I agree that G Gundam has the strongest effect of all of them. It has the best story, character development, love story, villan, and action. I mean who was not breath taken when Domone fought Master Asia for the final time? Who was not freaked out and disturbed during the last three episodes when they assualted the Devil colonly?

Don't get me wrong. I am a huge fan of G Gundam. I am leaning towards it being my favorite Gundam series (And yes, I have seen them all ^_^). However, I think you're being harsh. X also paid homage to anime traditions. It's been a while since I've watched it, but I'm positive it has the anime fall, and am pretty sure it had the sweat drop and some other classic bits. And calling X a copy? Of UC? Hardly. Even calling Wing a copy? Not really. X is a good series, only lacking because it was cut short in my book, and Wing, while not the best, isn't terrible, either. The closest Gundam series to being a copy is SEED, and it is also fantastic. If you want a Gundam show to bash on, look into the final chapter of UC, Victory Gundam. Bleh.

I love this show, and shows like this.The way the series starts off slow, and in the end it blows you away.You can miss the first 10 episodes and still wouldn't have missed a thing, lol.Shows like DRAGONBALL Z, SAILOR MOON,even POKEMON are famous for it.

Oh yeah does anyone else find it funny that just when Domone mastered the Shining Gundam was destroyed he had to learn the Burning Gundam all over again?

Incorrect. Domon didn't master the Shining Gundam, he mastered himself. The Tranquility of Water (or something like that) taught to him by Schwartz Bruder wasn't purely to open the Super Mode, but to allow Domon to reach his full potential. This is why it A. Works outisde a fighter, when he blocks the Spiegel Blade with the rusty katana, and B. Allows him to access the God Gundam's hyper mode in his first fight. It just isn't shiny.

Yes, Zechs was based off Char. There's not denying that. However, that's one character. The whole philosophic argument as to whether or not people should risk their own lives fighting was present in no other series but Wing. Warg, I'm bad at explaining my thoughts. Basically, Wing isn't as bad as people keep saying in regards to ripping off the original MSG.

And I'll need to check out this Metal Armour Dragonar.

Sorry, I guess I didn't quite make myself clear. I meant more along the lines of replacing soldiers on the battlefield with machines, removing the risk, and that cheapening what is won. I might be a little bit off with that, admittedly, it has been a long time since I've seen Wing.

And I don't really see any relation between Relena and Lalah. Lalah isn't too much of a pacifist, or doesn't stick to it very well, considering how many Federation soldiers she utterly rapes with the Elmeth. Not to mention, there's not relation between Char and Lalah.

The show that most blatantly ripsoff/rehashes UC is actually Gundam SEED. Replace a lot of the nameless dead Zakus with the other four Gundams, and the first half is quite similar, my favorite example being the character of Andrew Bartfelt being quite similar to the ol' Blue Giant, Ramba Ral. And yet it's still good, and gets better in the second half, when the do go more original.

Well, a Relena/Sayla still isn't much accurate. Sayla only didn't want Amuro and Char fighting, because she cared for them both. As far as random enemy pilots go, she killed a fair share as a pilot herself.

As for re-making 0079 instead... eh... I almost always like new stuff. Besides, if they just redid 0079, we'd never have had Mwu La Fraga!

I haven't really enjoyed Seed and didn't particulary care for G.

Now 08th MS team. I love that one, perfect blend of action and story.

G Gundam is just a joy to have and watch. Yeah, its essentially a kids show and its very annoying how fomulaic the story arcs become, but there is an intensity present that no other Gundam series captures. I mean, God Gundam fights the Devil, it just doesn't get any bigger than that! 3 cheers for G Gundam!

I've never been able to get into any other Gundam show. G Gundam is the only Gundam show that interests me. And I mean ONLY.

I like gundam wing's story and Heero Yuy, but G Gundam has better battles.

It's my favorite, but i only ever really liked it and Gundam Wing. I liked the ways they went over the regular ones. I really didn't give too hoots what happened to most of them but got so sad over deaths in G and Wing.

Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB
