To anyone out there who is interested, the whole series (22 discs in all, 52 episodes) is now available cut price for £49.95 at Play. I have just ordered mine.

I am in the UK. This set is Region 2, so will only play on a US dvd player that is multiregion or region free. This series is also in PAL, whereas NTSC is the standard in the US, so you would also have to ensure that your telly is capable of receiving a PAL signal. Having said that, if your intention was to play it on a computer, you would only have to ensure that it is multiregion, usually via a firmware update. This is what I did on my computer to give me the option of playing my Region 1 boxsets ordered from the US.
As regards the price, it is no longer on offer at Play. However, you can still pick it up for £54 from Amazon UK.
