This show was awesome! Where did it go?

This show told the story that everyone wanted to know. I found myself watching BTM even when it was about different music groups that I did not even care for. I saw a Kid Rock show not too long ago but there has not been anything new lately. Is the show over?

they show replays of some of the episodes but every now and then they will come out with a new episode. Tonight they replayed Ratt and Pantera behind the music with parts updated especially with the pantera one with Dimebag Darryl being shot and killed

Yep, it’s over (or if they are showing and/or making any new episodes now, I didn't see or hear anything about them).

I liked that show myself. I watched it regularly. And its funny, when they were showing it on VH1 originally, I also watched episodes about bands or individuals I didn't really listen to or follow.

It’s great that on the VH1 "Classic" channel they still do show episodes (reruns) of "Behind The Music" occasionally.

But, it SUCKS that its only the BTM episodes of Ratt and Pantera every six weeks (no offense to fans of these groups). There are well over 100(!!) episodes of this show. I'm wondering why don't they show some of these, also?

But maybe when people stop watching the "reality shows" (yeah right!), and get back to being about the MUSIC and MUSICIANS, they will film new episodes of BTM again.

This past February 3rd was the 50th Anniversary of the plane crash that killed Buddy Holley, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.

I thought for sure VH1 would rerun the episode "The Day the Music Died" on that day, but they didn't. Who programs this channel anyway???!
