When I thougt of the actor, the Karate Kid came into my head. And even Corey Feldman or other child actors. For the women, you can have Jennifer Love Hewitt as the school girl, for the computer president, you can cast a blond porn star, for the motorcycle girl, Angelina Jolie, the swimmer, I think Jessica Alba, and the cartoonist, Neve Campbell.

Most anime-comedy wouldn't work in live action movies/series.
after having seen "Nodame Cantabile" I would like to take this statement back.
Sure, not everyone would dig the anime-comedy genre, but the Nodame Cantabile Live Action series proved to me that anime-comedy can work (amazingly well) with real actors!
It was just plain awesome >_>
Great Teacher Onizuka LA wasn't exactly like the manga and Anime, but it was pretty good, though.
