At the scene at Cape Doom, there's that one part when Pepe is hitting on a girl by leaning up against her. She then calls him a name(geek, dork, not sure exactly, but something along those lines). Is that girl Katie Holmes? It would make sense, being that Holmes started her acting career around the same time this movie was released.

i was never a "dawson's" fan, but i laughed out load at that bit...
shame katie took that role too seriously (no offence unintended scientologists!)
He says something like "I wish Dawson was here" or "Dawson should be here" and then, "This is just like something from one of his sci-fi movies."
