One of my favorite parts of the movie: When the deranged scientist that was gonna suck Gonzo's brain out was pushed up against the glass and says "release me" And awesome reference to Independence Day.

That and just about everything else in this movie is cool.

It was definitely from ID4 as Brent Spiner played the scientist whose voice was controlled by an alien tentacle, saying "RELEEEEASE MEEEEEEE!" up against a glass wall.

Given that it was released in 1999, I expected such a reference.
