I just saw this on a DVD rented from Netflick, it seems to be from the company mentioned here...
the movie image was split by a clearly demarcated vertical line down the middle with the left half of the image being a couple shades darker than the right. Otherwise the image was very clear.
This was true for the image in the menu and ALL of the trailers... (Lone Wolf And Cub and Zatoichi films)
Anyone see that? Is it some sort of company trademark gimmick?
did not notice on my region 1 copy but i am planning on watching this film with some friends who have never seen it this coming weekend so i'll double check then.
my copy(region 1) is fine and does not contain the problem mentioned above.the DVD i have is produced by Animego(spelling?) and is a beautiful transfer.not much in the way of special features though.
shareI was unfrotunate enough to buy the artsmagic release of it. Errrrg the picture quality was abysmal so I'm importing the Animeigo release.
shareYour tv was set to demo mode way back then. One side of the screen was normal and one side was demoing vivid color.
