How old is Judith and Loveday supposed to be at the beginning of the movie (autumn 1936)? Keira Knightley was about 13 while filming, however when they change to Emelie it is supposed to be only two years later, but the storyline doesn't match a 15year-old.

Judith is 14 at Christmas 1935, which is when the book starts. She begins at St. Ursula's on Jan. 15, 1936 for the Easter term; not in Autumn 1936 as the series says. Loveday is a year younger than Judith and in the form below.
