DVD?

Do they have this series on DVD?

I bought the original on Laserdisc back in the day. It came on 2 laserdiscs with 2 eps on one and 2 eps on the other. It looks great. About 2 years ago I found it on Ebay on DVD so I bought it but even though it looks like an official release it's obviously a bootleg since every time the action speeds it gets kinda pixel-ly for a moment so the compression is bad. Not the type of stuff you would see from a professional company. I've been thinking about just transferring the one from my laser disc instead and doing it myself for a more high quality copy.

As far as it being on DVD, I haven't seen it available yet so I'm not sure.

Thanks,
Frank

I was just reading on Amazon that the DVD is censored!

I used to have this on DVD and boy do I miss owning it (you will see why down a few sentences), there was a DVD version that came out in the late 90s ('99 I think) and then there was one released in 2003, the difference is that I believe the '03 is unedited for content unlike the '99 version that cut out the nudity. Both versions are out of print and you will be looking to pay big for a new copy on ebay or amazon ('99 goes for around $80 - $90 new and the '03 version is north of $100 new). Best shot to get it used or new is to go by a smaller dvd retail chain like Hastings or pawn shops that have dvds, chances are that they might have a copy for $20 hiding in the depths of the store that might have not been bought or pulled. It might take a while but its either that or pay big time.

I have this DVD. I don't think it's censored: http://amazon.com/Dominion-Tank-Police-1-2/dp/6305419639/

I got the DVD back around 2001, which I still have. It was definitely not censored. It was the official CPM release that included a pinup of the Puma twins. Not bootleg stuff, that's for sure.
