"The Contender" certainly was a left-wing PoS...and "Commander in Chief" was little more than a failed infomercial for Hillary Rodham Clinton...
Yet this film seems to have a right-wing slant. What gives?
No, the movie presents an absurd caricature of the Right Wing.
Not for nothing, Lurie does not seem to understand concept of Deterrence if he thinks that giving a 90 minute deadline to submit or be nuked has anything to do with deterrence.
Now, in a far more realistic example, if Emerson had informed Uday that he would be Nuked if his troops continued their advance into Saudi Arabia, THAT would have been Deterrence!
Exactly. The premise of this film has nothing to do with deterrence.
