A Question ?

Was this movie remake of any hollywood movie.

Well if it was not then we should congratulate ravi chopra for this different and novel script.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but the plot sounds somewhat similar to the later Hollywood action movie Speed (1994). If that's true, then that could mean that Hollywood may have been inspired by this movie.

Actually I figured out later this movie was a remake of The cassandra crossing.
But thanks anyway.

More likely the Airport movies, Posiedon adventure, The Towering Inferno.

Its that man again!!

The Cassandra Crossing is about a viral outbreak, whereas The Burning Train is a disaster movie about, well, a burning train. So no, I wouldn't call it a remake at all.

I think The Bullet Train (Shinkansen Daibakuha, 1975) was probably the movie that inspired Cassandra Crossing (1976), The Burning Train (1980), Runaway Train (1985) and Speed (1994). However, each of these movies did add their own unique twists to the formula.

Back then, Hollywood and Bollywood were both taking inspiration from Japanese cinema, including Bollywood's Sholay and Hollywood's Star Wars. In turn, Hollywood and Japan were also taking inspiration from Bengali cinema, including Hollywood's E.T. and Japan's Grave of the Fireflies.
