Oh dear me! I am only 7 minutes into the movie and already I don't like it! I assure you I am watching it for the sake that it is a movie, not as a continuation to the first two wonderful movies! Diana and Fred quarreling? Green Gables looks like a dump! Oh dear me no, you can never improve on L.M. Montgomery's books, why did they even try writing their own story line! (clicks tongue very disapprovingly!!) I own almost all of L.M. Montgomery's books and cherish them as my favorite books of all time. What a wonderful author! Why didn't they make a movie of the Emily books or something and leave Anne of Green Gables alone? If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!

This is why i never read books wich movies are made of bc i know im going to be disappointed.

So for me without reading the books at all this movie was beautiful.

Doing a movie about Emily and her other books would be a great idea.
