I had no idea this book was made into a series

I had no idea this series of Tom Clancy's books were turned into a television series! For people who have read the book, and have seen the show, how does it compare?

I saw this a while ago, but I believe it was awful. The books are just as confusing, heh.

The first four book are actually pretty good for not actually been written by Tom Clancy, they have pretty good characterization as do all "Clancy" books.
