This film was actually rated R for violence? Huh? There's not really that much real violence in this film, and what violence there is looks more like a PG to me. Not even a PG-13. OK, so there's a big shootout at the end, but well within PG range.
shareI don't get it either. The violence is very soft, and there's not a single word in this film that would be bleeped on this website. This could air on any network at any time of day.
It seems that PG is the rating given to films for older children these days, so I guess this would be PG-13 but certainly not R. But I'm just second-guessing the MPAA because this doesn't even feel like PG-13 to me.
It's rated 'R' because several scenes when someone was shot blood was seen. If blood wasn't seen, then it would be PG-13.
