looking for a movie title?!!!

My friend and I are looking for the name of a movie that was aired on "monstervision" back in the day. It was about a murder and revenge beyond the grave or something like that. These people were buried in the sand up to their heads...and then they came back as seaweed people...i think. I know that's kind of vague, but if anyone knows it would calm her mind and mine:))
