I agree, it was garbage. If people think B.R. Chopra's version had bad graphics, then they should watch this one.

I believe it might have something to do with intent. Sanjay Khan was trying the awe the people, believe it or not, with his graphics and wasn't too keen on delivering the message. Wheras Chopra's version completely "devoted" to delivering the message and used special effects to merely enhance the delivery.
