Favourite Character

Who's your favorite Character(s) of the series?

So far, mine would have to be the great Bhishma. He's loyal to the kingdom of Hastinapur, he's showed his love for his father by denouncing his birthright as the next king and taking the vow of celibacy, and he has shown his courage & bravery numerous times.

I also loved seeing the way that he handled the young princes. His loving relationship with young Arjun is so beautiful and tender!

Those and so many other qualites have made him very attractive to me.

Krishna by far. He is very intellectual and sophisticated. He knows exactly what actions to take at any given moment and knows what words need/dont need to be said. He is one of the few characters that has what it takes in handling the "evil-minded" He is amazing!

I think that's a given. Of course the Supreme Lord is the greatest personality in there. I think everyone would choose Krishna. He is perfect in every way. So apart from the obvious no.1 choice Lord Krishna, I would say....apart from Him and His incarnations (Veda Vyasa (Dvaipayan Krishna)) i would say Bhishma too. Yudhistira is very intelligent and knowledgeable, and so are the other Pandavas, but the moment when Draupadi gets humiliated and they stay silent makes me question things. I like Arjun as well, how can you not?
But Bhishma is the most loyal to his father, and never shows an evil side. And it was completely unfair how Amba blamed him...and his battle with Maharishi Parashurama is mind-blowing, I love that battle though I watch it over and over again.

At this point, I have to agree. Krishna always makes me laugh--he's a great character, as can be expected for a god!!

Krishna Ofcourse, his character is so bloody awesome but apart from him i have to say Karna.

Karna by far.

I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad, and it's depressing.

Bhishma Pitamaha, karan and arjun, and Duryodhana ( the guy who played Duryodhana did a really good job)

All characters are endearing in their own ways......but my favourite has to be Karna. The perfect anti-hero. He sided with wrong people.....but he did that for a reason as well. Duryodhana was the only one who embraced him as a friend.....so he remained loyal to Duryodhana till the end no matter what (even when he came to know he's going to fight his own brothers). He committed grave mistakes, did his share of wrong deeds as well......but he was a magnificent warrior, a loyal friend, a supremely generous man (even today, generous people are said to be "Danveer Karna" which roughly means Karna, the king of generosity in Hindi) and he had his own set of principles. Also, he made strange promises and stood by them....like he promised Kunti that he'll not harm any of the other Pandavas but Arjun; or that he vowed not to enter the Kurukshetra battlefield until Pitamaha Bhishma is in action. Who knows....maybe if Karna would've been there in the battlefield from day one, the battle would have been surely a lot different !

Shakuni. I know he's meant to be the bad guy but Gufi Paintal plays him like such a little slimeball that it's hard not to like him.

Excluding god, I will probably go with Bhishma or Arjun.
