unnecessarily long

This movie was the length of one of those epic love stories that spans decades and even though it technically fits into that category, not enough happens to categorize it as an "epic love story". And it's kind of confusing throughout the movie who the main character is supposed to be with. I thought it should have been more clear. Ultimately, I felt like this movie was a waste of time. I watched for Rob Morrow and Marisa Tomei. This is hardly an example of their best work. Not recmmended unless you're a diehard fan and can sit through 3 hours of a relatively boring love story.
