A song

Does anyone know where I can get the song "Lass Of Aughrim"? I think it was on over the end credits. My mum loves the song but doesnt want the rest of the soundtrack

I liked that song as well. Don't know of any recordings of it, but I am sure there must be. Might check some Irish song web sites.

You can hear "The Lass of Aughrim" on one of Frank Patterson's Cds. I am not sure, but I think the title is THE BEST OF FRANK PATTERSON. You can hear it sung (by Patterson, I'm pretty sure) in the movie JAMES JOYCE'S THE DEAD, John Huston's farewell film. It's a powerful moment.
Also, there's a great album of songs featured in the books James Joyce's works. "The Lass of Aughrim" isn't on it, but it's well worth a listen if you can actually find it. It was released on vinyl in the mid-80's and is called MUSIC FROM THE WORKS OF JAMES JOYCE. It was on Sunphone Records, a record company based in Falmouth, Massachussetts. The singer is Kevin McDermott, accompanied on piano by Ralph Richey.

If you want, I have a copy of the Lass from the movie with Ewan and Susan singing it. Hard to find, but if you look, it's on the web somewhere.

You can see a video on Youtube of it in James Joyce's "The Dead" where Frank Patterson is singing it from another room and the "Nora" character is listening while her husband watches her face.

There's another one where you can hear the words more clearly, by Brenda Crawley:
