I've read the list of movie connections for this movie, but it doesn't mention Casablanca. The final scenes of La Niña de tus ojos reminded me of Casablanca's ending, the plane and all. Am I the only one?

shareYeah I definitley noticed that as well. I don't necessarily know what the homage was supposed to accomplish, but I think it was intentional. What gave it away for me was the way Fontiveros was dressed in the hat and coat that looked just like Bogart in the last scene of Casablanca. I loved the movie overall.
