Let's see if you dorks can figure this out

How many times is hypertime faster than real time?

Dopler said, he was 1 week in hypertime and became 20 years older, so hypertime would be about 1000 times faster than real time.

I did the math two different ways and came out with 1,040 hours even. Where you get the 2.857 hours?

Also, people tend to round up or down when referring to "one week," and it's easy to say "20 years," but you don't know how precise that is either.

Everything I do gets 1,040 even.

168 hours in a week. I also get 174,720 hours in 20 years.

168 hours in a week x 52 weeks x 20 years = 174,720 ÷ 168 hours = 1,040 hours

I essentially did the same math two other ways, just variations on how to get 20 years' worth of hours.

161,280 hours ÷ 20 years = 8,064 hours per year ÷ 52 weeks per year ÷ 7 days per week yields 22.1538 hours per day.

Are you using 365 days per year in your equation? Are you taking into consideration leap years and leap days? I guess I hadn't though about the latter. My understanding is that 365 days is not always correct. Technically, 7 days x 52 weeks is 364 days and I've never understood the issue with that.

Actually, there are 4.28 weeks in a month.
7.024 days in a week.

The average length of a year is 365.2425 days since 97 out of every 400 years is a leap year

So, 20 years * 365.2425 days = 7,304.85 days

1 week = 7 days

So, 20 years / 1 week = 7304.85 days / 7 days = 1,043.55

I know this is old as *beep* but I'm pretty sure there's a point right when he first figures out what the watch can do when the guy says he'd been walking around for like 30 minutes and the chick was like "You've only been gone for two seconds."
So 1 sec = 15 min
Of course it is possible that hypertime isn't entirely consistent and that it could age you more the longer you're in it. I don't know.
