Message boards closing

It's a bummer, especially because we won't be able to come here, and talk about the revival show. :-( It was a pleasure speaking with all of you other W&G fans. Take care! :-)

I'm disappointed. What's the purpose of this? I LOVED logging on and chatting with other classic movie and TV fans. I'm a cinema buff and classic film blogger and the discussion on old flicks and the golden era of Hollywood were lots of fun for me. The forums are like the cyber version of NYC--sure, there's a lot of bullsh-- but there's also a lot of good stuff! The nature of the open discourse on the forums about everything from I Love Lucy to the frikkin' political establishment; it's what discussion is all about! I don't like it. The forums have been around for over a decade; why shut them down now? It's their right but man, I think it sucks hard.

It sucks. I understand why they're doing it but it's not fair for the people that actually like to have civilized conversations on here unlike all the annoying trolls. Why can't they just have moderators?
