One of the nannies, the blonde one had a baby and the baby in her charge died, his older brother said for him to swap it for hers and at least it would have a good up bringing.

I wish I could find more information on Laurence Owen, who played Tom, the boy who shot his father and was sent away. Adorable child. He stole my heart.

Laurence Owen segued into music becoming a composer. If you Google him, adding "actor" will lead you to the composer.
