Which is better, the American dubbing or the orignal Japenese voices.
And is the American any good, is it on the level of Wicked City or Vampire Hunter D?

The american dubbing is just plain omg horrbile..it has no emotion and the acting is terrible and it leaves our important parts of the movie
i watched it in english when i first saw it and i though wtf that sucked
but then i gave it another chance in Japanese and it was supurbe and changed the whole movie
trust me watch it in the original
i was ok with the american dubbing aside from memania, that was just painful to watch and listen to. i haven't seen the japanese though so i'll have to have a watch with that on next time i do. though its much less powerful the second time around i imagine.

Plenty of reasons. Some might not be able to keep up with the subtitles. Or they might have something else to do that would require they take their eyes off the tv occasionally. Or their tv might be too small for the subtitles to be clear enough to read. Or they just prefer english.
