freaking hilarious

this is the only ed wood movie elvira has hosted as far as i know, i got this in her midnight madness collection, but i think the 21st century movie macabre is her greatest series and improved in every way, i know people say that about the opening as well, you sometimes forget she's hosting these as she only appears at opening and close in midnight madness. maybe because of the ed wood biography movie, but i'm into ed wood flicks, this board had much fewer posts than i expected, also i thought this didn't get mentioned in that ed wood 1994 biopic but dr. acula is being referred to, and i've always loved movies including narration (bit of far in between though), he's got quite the cool cast too, again tor johnson here in a part, he was not made up like this in "the beast of yucca flats", notice the opening credits look like a painting, an atmospheric one, it's strange how obvious it comes over that criswell is reading from signs, when the lady looks around and asks her husband "where are we" you kind of knew what lines would be coming, if this wasn't hosted by elvira and if i didn't know it was made by ed wood i might think of this piece as a bit slow it looks quite low budget and haven't got many effects. notice some sound effects are that of a cartoon like.
