Rupert and Benjamin save this movie..sort of

This movie is a guilty pleasure. Like Showgirls its so bad it's good.

Madonna is just awful in most of the scenes. Great body, she looks hot but cannot act or show any pure emotion. When Kevin dumps her she doesn't even cry and struggles to even look upset. She is tolerable in a few scenes but that is it. Her teeth are distracting, and so is her accent whatever accent it is supposed to be.

Rupert is a doll and is great throughout the movie. The kid who plays Sam is adorable. Rupert plays a fun loving gay Dad.

Benjamin is HOT. I do like the way he courts her and he is nice to look at. Kinds surprising he took the role knowing Madonna was going to face alot of criticism.

She turns into a major bitch during the custody battle and the happy cute tone of the movie is changed a bit. You go from laughing at the movie because she is so bad to wanting to punch her.

Anyways I do find myself watching this movie from time to time because there are a couple really enjoyable parts in it.

LOL!! I came here to say the exact same things! I love watching Showgirls for the same reason I watch this movie. Madonna becomes more and more I guess British through the movie! LOL Although I think Rupert is kind of bad in this movie as well, but not as bad as Madonna. She clearly doesn't understand what acting is about. She doesn't understand emotion at all, but again I love her crazy accents... all of them! lol
