Opening Credits AWESOME, sets the tone

One of the best openings to a movie! I love the way we get to see all the memories of Willie in his bedroom. It really sets the tone for this beautiful movie. All those little nuances in the bedroom are an excellent foreshadowing of the movie to come. And the music is so sweet too!

I didn't really like the beginning because the score was lifted directly from Simon Birch which didn't sound original to begin with.

Yes, this film's score must have taken some ideas from Simon Birch (this score is a lot stronger, too).
