This was a very good film despite the bullying

It was a nice film with a nostalgic look at a boy and his dog but I wasn't really too fond of the bullying scenes! I know the bullies become his friends after winning a game of baseball or football (I forgot) but I just don't like the fact that boys are bullied way more than girls, especially in TV shows and films.

Part of growing up. Those were the good old days though, nowadays it's cyber bullying and you can't punch a computer screen in the nose.

Boy bullying is more physical whereas girl bullying is more emotional/psychological.
