Anne Marie Johnson made this movie for me!

She was the reason I actually rented it (plus, I like to take a chance with smaller movies every so often). Her part is small (and had this been a "Hollywood" romantic comedy, it probably would've been larger role as the first girlfriend who dumped the lead). And in how many movies would the male lead be going out with a woman who is seven years older than him....and that never gets commmented on for a second (nor is the fact that she is African American but I figure everyone is beyond that know...but the age thing now and especially 6 or so years ago when the movie first came out/was made)! She's also more than ten years older than his new girlfriend (Beth Ulrich). Maybe that's to the credit of the filmakers who realized they could get a known actress (maybe not a movie star but a very recognizable face who probably has her fair amount of fans) who can act and look great. Good for her!
