Kiss of death for actresses?

Did anyone else notice that, of all the actresses in this movie, only Anne-Marie Johnson and Laurel Green have any acting credits AFTER this movie? Also, it seems to be a Bootzin family production, with the director's wife and parents appearing in it, and his wife sharing a writing credit.
