I am sooo very glad that we stuck it out to the end.

We started watching this with the assumption that it would get old quickly given the start.
In addition to our lack of enthusiasm, the network showing it was loading the bejeepers outa it with commercials.
Add to that that it was broadcast quite late on a weeknight and we had early plans - next day.


Still - the commercials were perfectly sequenced for the plot, the characters began an early redemption of themselves and the storyline consistently became more and more engaging.

Eventually, it's after midnight and we congratulated ourselves for sticking it out - such was our enjoyment.

The very last scene... Dramatic, relevant and heart wrenchingly moving.

Actors, directors, well done. Another example of not requiring big budgets and monster stars to give the customer more than his money's worth. I would have been quite happy to have dropped $12.00 on this rather than some of the recent "hits" we've seen.

And we saw it for free.
