The West Wing connection???

Did anybody else notice how many of the characters in this movie were in the television show The West Wing? Here's a list off the top of my head:

Stig was played by the same actor who played Carl Everett, a Democratic fundraiser who went to the State Dinner with Sam's call girl friend Laurie.

Stig's agent was Mark Godfrey, the host of the talk show Captitol Beat

Stig's receptionist was Ainsley Hayes, the Republican Assistant White House Counsel

Betty Feugo, the girl from the amusement park show, was Ellie Bartlett, one of the first daughters

Monique was the same actress who played Kate Harper, the deputy National Security Advisor.


Now, I've only seen this film once whereas I am completely obsessed with The West Wing but did anyone else notice the huge number of common cast members?
