Indeed: When are we gonna get a Region-1 DVD relese of this?

Honestly, who do ya write to, and WHAT is the hold up? Both of the Region-2 DVDs shown on Amazon are overpriced, and long out-of-print (not to mention I'm not hacking neither of my 5.1 theater players, so don't no one start that sh*t cause it can ruine your DVD players, and plus importing for a single DVD I found way too costly).

C'mon, does ANYONE know the hold up? I see the director, Phil, has posted twice (once in the soundtrack thread), and I've PM'd him, but he hasn't been on now in weeks (which is understandable; film makers can be brutally busy). It's truely frustrating. The film must have some legal mumbo-jumbo keeping it off North American DVD if ya think about it. Which is all too bad, as it's a fine/well acted, often surreal, above average Drama with a very interesting cast (the lovely French beauty Godreche and the lead Dorff inparticular) and seem's deeply personal to the writer/director.

A damn crying shame that it's not on DVD over here, when some much other amaetur-ish dreck and over budgeted and over bloated fare remains on the big screen in multiplexes, and will be be on disc in like 8 months, ect.

My advice is buy a region 2 dvd, set your laptops dvd player to region two, and use the hdmi, and audio out on it to play on your tv.

Seriously, if you find anything else out about the region I release of this movie I would be ecstatic. This is one of my all time favorite movies of all time and I have been waiting for a DVD release since forever. I had the VHS version of it and it got lost in one of my moves. I will be checking here to see if you have posted any positive news. How long is it gonna take for the release of this movie to happen? Already been like 10 years and I am now 30. Don't want to wait anymore!

I've got a VHS I've transferred to DVD if anyone's interested in obtaining a copy.
