Someone Help Me NOW!

Does anyone remember an Australian/NZ? tv show, made around the same time, Late 1980s/Early 1990s?.

It was about a big clock thing in a shopping mall that was a time machine, The Clock had a Mannequin/Dummy thing in a 1930's type gangster suit, I also remember a magic Glass Ball and the Future world was a desert with tent type buildings with people in orange overalls.

It was last aired on Channel 4 in 1994, Also around the same time as PugWall. Thats all i remember.
