I wish a company would buy the rights and bring it state side.

How long do we have to wait?

You can get fan subtitled versions from www.centralanime.net. As the title hasn't been licensed in the US, it's completely legal, provided you don't turn around and sell them. The quality of the video and translations are excellent, and Central anime has done all 49 episodes, as well as the Encore episodes, Movie, and Dynamite 7 OAV's.

Having watched all of them already, I only wish there were more...

I was at a robotech panel for Shadow chronicles at San Diego comicon in 06, and apparantly there were lots of legal problems with a number of robotech propertys in Japan.

I think it has something to do with a dispute between HArmony Gold and the original Japanese company.

I just recently just the whole series i thought the TV Series was great Encore was alright and Dynamite 7 was disappointing
