A couple of questions....
I'm still watching this. (I'm already familiar with the Robotech: Southern Cross, but similar to when I watched the original Macross...there is a different feel.)
This version obviously has a lot more since it's standing alone, but there is some things that are lacking. For instance:
The pairing between Captain Sekishima and Lana: So, that pairing was just dropped...and Brown/Lana was hinted at?
Who exactly are the Zor? Why do they want Gloire? (It is hinted that used to be their planet before the humans settled on it, but the story has yet to go into why they want the planet back, and why they want to fight to get it back).
As I've mentioned, I'm still watching the show, but according to one of the reviews posted, it seems like some plot points are left open-ended.
