I'm just a guy who's intrigued by the whole Ricky Kasso tragedy. I know how morbid this must seem, but I am totally sane. I'm just into true crime and I would like to know if, maybe, you had any stories or experiences with Ricky you'd like to share?
shareThe website's not listing a distributor, but does say coming to theaters 2004, yet the news section hasn't been updated since 2002. I'm dying to see this movie. I loved Vincent on Angel and heard this movie was great. (The website info doesn't even mention Vincent's role as Conner, Angel's tormented son). I live in NYC, so we get a lot of limited run movies (like Bubba Ho-Tep!) but I'm going to start scanning newspapers for any showings of this film.
shareThey don't list his role on Angel because the movie was made before he got that part. I think the movie was made in 1999 or around there.
I'm dying to see this movie now. I know people have got copies already, and someone offered to sell one to me for $70. I don't have seventy extra dollars to spend on a bootleg that I'm not even sure is of good quality or not. Anyway, I bought The Black Circle Boys (also VERY loosely based on the Kasso crimes) years ago and I really enjoyed it.. I didn't know it was based on Kasso until I heard about this movie. The murder of Rory was almost identical to Gary's murder... There was a grave robbing scene, but that's about as far as the similarities go.
Unfortunately, I doubt that the movie'll come out this year. They've been saying that for four years now. Has anyone emailed the webmaster of the site?
