I've made with some enqueries with the Romanian embassy andhere is their reply:
I have contacted the Romanian Centre for Cinematography http://www.cncinema.abt.ro/, the institution who manages the Romanian cinematographic database and licences (the movie „Maria-Mirabela” is a part of their fund, as you can see in the Cinematographic Register: http://www.cncinema.abt.ro/registrulcinematografiei/index.aspx?pageID=3&filmID=6266). I have found out that, unfortunately, this movie has never been multiplied on VHS or DVD for commercial purposes. Of course, it was broadcasted many times on TV by various Romanian TV stations. So that I regret to inform you that simply there are no official copies of this movie in sale right now. The good (longer-term) news is that the RCC works towards digitizing all the Romanian movies, and, when this is done, it will certainly be easier to find the movie.
If anyone finds a copy please can you post it here, thanks.
How long a term are we talking here? A year? Ten? Five?
This is interesting news for another Romanian movie I am looking for: Ma-ma / Rock n Roll Wolf / Rada vs the Wolf / ...

Sucks, the original romanian version will always be superior..especially the songs..not to mention the acting...im sorry i cant find on youtube the whole movie, but you can still find scenes from the movie especially the songs...
