Then why would the police buy the rape story Courtney lays out? One of the first things they do in possible murder cases would be to check if the victim has been raped... yet when they find the semen in the bed or whatever to arrest the suspect, they never discover she's actually a virgin so it wouldn't have added up?
shareI know what you mean, but you're putting way too much thought in this movie. It was never supposed to be anything more than a Black Comedy. If you have seen the movie Heathers it also has unrealistic characters/plot points, most movies do, but it's not about being real.

I heard there was a shot of Courtney using a turkey baster to like... burst Liz's hymen, but they cut it out. As crass as it is, they should have kept it in. It would've answered the question for a lot of people.

Yeah, it's a flaw in the film, and in reality, they would have known she wasn't raped. They also would have known that she wasn't killed in the house, and so on.

shareIt's honestly just implied that Courtney got that guy to have sex on her bed. They didn't show the details of what else you'd have to do, to buy that she was raped. But Courtney showed herself to be obviously a psycho sociopath that was selfish, self involved, narcissistic and crazy all around. So for me, I didn't need them to show me what else she did that night. She probably (like the other poster said they cut out of the film) did what she could to break Liz's hymen. And put the sperm from the man into Liz. She was sick enough of a person to do it. They kept making it clear how evil she was and how far she would go and how much she didn't give a ****. The only thing for me is I don't know how she would get her own DNA away from the bed. I guess she could have changed the sheets---but then the dna from the guy would only be in Liz and nowhere else. So that part confused me a little but really you don't have to think too far into it. The whole thing is over the top. Intentionally over the top. So plot holes don't really matter. Cause in reality if you're going to go through stuff like that with a fine tooth comb---they all would have been going to jail. Courtney for the longest. Julie for the least. Not sure about Marci. Fern may have had to be on trial, and may have gotten a plea bargain or something for being a witness and telling them everything. So don't worry about it lol.
