Southern California weather
I know everyone thinks it's always warm and sunny here. But in December it is cold. Tank tops and short skirts probably wouldn't be the attire. Oh well.
shareWell, I live here, too and compared to other states it's warm.
Someone who lived in say Chicago, who came out here for winter would find a major difference in temperature.
Especially if you're closer to the desert regions, it's warmer.

in san diego it's always a good idea to have a couple sweaters ready.

Yeah, I agree. I mean during the holidays here you're always going to need some type of sweater (especially in San Diego where it's closer to the beach), but you're never going to need one of those super durable, thick jackets that they need back East. Even still if someone from back East vacationed here during the winter season I'm sure they'd be pleasantly satisfied with our sweater only weather :P
