Van Houten Chocolate

For most normal people, movies are just a silly form on entertainment. It's a way to escape for a few hours, and get a laugh, scare, cry, etc. But not for me. I love movies, but sometimes I also need to go beyond just watching them. I like to experience things I see in them. Van Houten chocolates is one of those times where a movie has led me to a journey of discovery. I use to own a movie called, That's The Way I Like It. It's one of those Miramax films that came out when Miramax was still cool and they would just release a bunch of good foreign films and not try to make 100 million dollar movies and try to buy Oscars, etc. Anyway, it's a small romantic comedy from Singapore, with no subtitles; because for the most part they speak English, thank the British who colonized them for a long time. Anyway, it's a story about a guy who one day watches a movie and it changes his life. The movie is Saturday Night Fever, and he gets into disco dancing to try and get the girl of his dreams, etc. It's got Disco music, a white guy playing John Travolta who haunts the main character and gives him advice along the way, and even some kung fu. One of the things the main character does is make sure his brother gets his favorite kind of chocolate for his birthday, Van Houten chocolate. So that led me on an odyssey that has lasted years. I tried to go online and purchase some Van Houten Chocolate. Funny thing was I couldn't. I would find websites selling it, but it was all websites catered to Asia and the Middle East. I couldn't get any of them to ship it to the States. The best I could get was Van Houten chocolate powder, which was cool but it wasn't the real deal. So anyway, last week a co-worker of mine was leaving for vacation and mentioned she's going to Singapore. I was like, hold on, you have to get me some Van Houten Chocolate and bless her heart; she got me two boxes of the stuff. I had one box already, and I'm saving one for this week. See, I don't own the movie anymore, so I had to order it on Amazon. I'm going to have a nice viewing party for one, and watch the movie and enjoy my Van Houten chocolate. Does this make me a loser? Probably, but I don't care, I have Van Houten chocolate and you don't, haha!
