what is the name of the actress that tells she brought her family from england
to stay there, and they were amazed by the ´sounds´ coming from the next room ?

Well when you said garden of allah that makes me think they were talking about Alla Nazimova.
shareThat episode was probably about Alla Nazimova, since it was originally her property. I believe building it left her nearly broke, and so eventually someone bought it from her and she ended up living in one of the cottages. So - she couldn't have been the actress who was shocked by the "noises" she heard. Seems like all kinds of gatherings and hook-ups took place on the grounds - quite the playground for Hollywood stars, directors, writers etc. back in the day.
A disclaimer: I loved this show, but had forgotten about it until I ran into mention of it here on IMDB. It's been about a decade, so I might not have all of the above correct, but pretty sure I'm close to the mark. If you Google or Yahoo "Garden of Allah" you'll find the historic info. I don't have a clue who the actress was who heard the noises.
