REVIVAL

When this show was on back in the day, I used to always watch it on E! before the channel became the 'KartTrashian Network'. E! 'Mysteries & Scandals' back then focused on the sordid & lurid details surrounding the lives of the stars of Hollywood's golden age & the seamier side to 'Tinsel Town' itself, featuring stars of yesteryear such as Jean Harlow, Judy Garland, Fatty Arbuckle, Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Bela Lugosi etc.- which i loved, because I adore old time movie stars.

However, since they pretty much covered old Hollywood, I'd love to see a revival of this series as they have a lot of fresh stories to tell with modern stars -Brittany Murphy, Heath Ledger, Robin Williams, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Philip Seymour Hoffman, David Carradine, Anna Nicole Smith, John Ritter, Natalie Wood, John Belushi, Chris Farley, Kurt Cobain, Tupac Shakur, Phil Hartman etc to name a few-(the last 6 aren't as recent but these stars were never covered on the original show) Come on E! - put on something worth watching!

Man, Phil Hartman's murder was such a sad thing. I remember being on the internet that day, feeling ever so weirded out about the senseless loss of so much talent, and I got on one of the old Geocities message boards and did the only thing I could think of to do, make a joke about it: "Why couldn't it have been Eddie Murphy instead?"

I think Phil would've loved the joke. Who knows, maybe Murphy would too.

"I don't deduce, I observe."

LOL John Ritter? The guy died from heart disease. A surprise to his family and very unfortunate, but in no way was his life or death mysterious or scandalous.
