20 years just for 20 lbs of marijuana!

I am totally shocked and appalled that someone would get 20 years in prison just for smuggling 20 lbs of marijuana on a boat and I don't consider marijuana to be a dangerous drug like I do with meth, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy or even alcohol, even rapists, robbers and carjackers don't even get half the sentence that these marijuana runners have gotten, did these marijuana smugglers really deserve 20 years in prison just for smuggling 20 lbs of marijuana?
