completely bad

This movie is completely bad an boring, contains mainly faked stuff and dull documentary footage. The lion eating the man looked like it may have been real but who knows. This defiantly goes in the pile of lousy mondo cane ripoffs. For a much better movie with less fake stuff watch ADDIO AFRICA (AFRICA BLOOD & GUTS) and skip this boring pos unless you need a cure for insomnia.

Let's see, only a few scenes have been proven fakes (if one excuses the dub jobs added to some scenes): the Indian killing and the anti-fox hunt campaign. The lion attack may be, too, but the jury's still out on that one. Either way, the movie isn't "mainly" fake.

Seeing how the director of this film was actually the cinematographer for Jacopetti and Prosperi (the guys who made the Mondo Cane series), it's hardly a rip off, either.

Also, Africa Addio contains a LOT of fake footage (or, at the very least, footage that is suspected of being staged for the camera), and the print under the title of Africa Blood and Guts is cut to shreds, not to mention recut for violent effect, creating nothing but an unabashedly racist narrative.

If those lions were eating him there would be blood everywhere but there is none.
its fake.
the man had black hair while getting out of the car.
then he had light brown hair while being killed.

Have you ever seen someone get eaten alive by lions? If not, you shouldn't be saying that. I haven't, but if you're soley basing that off of things you heard, you're probably wrong. Ficticious films tend to make certain acts of violence much gorier than they are in real life for the effect of being shocking.

"I want you BLEEDERS!"

The Pit Dernitz death scene (the man eaten by lions) has been proven fake. Most of the hunting however is real.
