Does anyone know what car Crown is driving on the island? It´s a roadster with the doors welded shut.

Did you also notice that it was modified to be an off-road vehicle? That's why the doors were welded shut. It also had a full roll cage, off road lights on top, larger wheels and wheelwells and more ground clearance. I loved it!!

1968 Shelby Cobra GT500 KR. The 67 mustangs have the hood scoops further back, while the 68's have the scoops further foreward. KR stands for King of the Road, which were convertible GT500's (maybe 350's, but I don't remember.) Hope that helps.

It was orignally built for Arnold for Last Action Hero but it was never used. Learned this from the dvd commentary.
