What happened to the kid?
Does anyone know what happened to the kid that sang a couple of songs for Johnny Cash? He's the one that johnny got an audition for Columbia records.

A colleague of mine says his brother was in a movie playing a young Johnny Cash in 1969. We think it's this one, though he isn't credited in the cast. He wants to order the movie, and i want to make sure this is one where there _is_ some young unknown doing some songs (from the imdb website this looks like it's concert footage of the big guys only).
So - can you let me know if there _is_ an unknown guy playing a young Cash, or playing some if his songs in this film? If so, this is the right one. His name's Don Freed and he's a musician here in Saskatchewan, Canada. He has a website.
