Chinese soldiers

Has anyone noticed that the Chinese soldiers depicted in the film (though mostly shown in long shot) wear authentic PLA uniforms of the period, carry authentic Chinese weapons (mostly Kalashnikov assault rifles) and employ the correct PLA tactics ? A change from the usual Hindi film penchant for not being able to depict even Indian soldiers correctly.

Rather strange don't you think ?
