Fine Piece of Work

It's a rotten shame that this film is so little known. If it had been pimped by a major studio it would have been Oscar-level for sure, for a number of different categories.

However, it doesn't have Hollywood's requisite car chases, gun fights or simulated sex & nudity. Too bad for the teenage crowd, and the ones who never grew up.

I watched it originally just because Strathairn was in it. He always turns in a fine performance, and is very selective about the films he will do. If he's in it, it's well worth watching. Always.

I rank this one as an unknown gem.
