A great thriller

I also mainly watched it because David Strathairn was in it and I liked the description of an investigation about a conspiracy about an old murder in his hometown. I'll have to watch the end again to see the gravestone. I don't remember that. I think the major questions had all been answered in the end. (However,I still don't know how to pronounce David's last name. 😞)

Hey Artemis,

Like most other here, I have long enjoyed Strathairn's work. After reading your last sentence about how to pronounce David Strathairn's last name, I thought it would be an easy question to answer. Then I looked at its spelling again, and now I am wondering the same thing.

Until you asked the question, I had always thought it would be pronounced as Strath-hairn. Thanks to you I now wonder if it should be Strat-hairn? Or how about Stray-thairn? Or Strath-airn? Maybe even Strath-hern?

Thanks Artemis. I was happy in my ignorance in assuming it was Strath-thairn. Now I will be wondering about this until someone can cite the correct pronunciation.

Best wishes,
Dave Wile
